What Happened To Travis Barker: According to various sources, Travis Barker, the drummer for Blink-182, was taken to a hospital in the Los Angeles area today for reasons that are unknown.
Barker, who is 46 years old, initially presented himself to West Hills Hospital on Tuesday morning, accompanied by his wife, Kourtney Kardashian. After that, he was transported to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in an ambulance. According to TMZ, Kardashian accompanied the ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
The wedding of he and Kardashian took place a month ago in Portofino, Italy, and it was broadcast on Hulu’s series The Kardashians.
There is no information available on the reason for the trip to the hospital. On Tuesday morning, Barker tweeted only the phrase “God rescue me,” however it is not apparent whether these remarks were linked to his hospitalization as there is no other context provided.
Unfortunately, the “in sickness” aspect of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s wedding vows is already being put into practice. The drummer was recently admitted to the hospital, and his new wife was there to support him.
Barker and Kourtney initially presented themselves to the West Hills hospital on Tuesday morning for a medical concern over Travis’s condition. It would appear that the medical staff at West Hills believed Travis need extra treatment, as he was subsequently transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by ambulance after their assessment.
The musician was seen being carried out of the ambulance while holding his right palm up, which displayed his recognizable skull tattoo. He was taken to the hospital. For her part, Kardashian was only seen from the rear of the room. She was dressed in all black and had the hood of her sweatshirt pulled up over her head.
When the reality star and her entourage arrived at the hospital, the celebrity’s security detail followed closely behind in a black Range Rover and tailed the ambulance. It would appear that both vehicles entered the hospital through the incorrect section, so hospital staff guided them to the correct entrance on the opposite side of the building.
What happened with Travis Barker plane crash?
Alabama Barker, who is 16 years old and the daughter of Barker, wrote the following on her Instagram Story just a few minutes after the news broke: “Please send your thoughts.”
According to TMZ, Barker and Kourtney made their initial appearance at the West Hills hospital on Tuesday morning for a health concern that Travis was suffering.
Whatever the findings of the medical team there were, they were enough to warrant transporting Travis to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for additional treatment. Even the presence of an ambulance does not ensure that there is a critical problem. The use of an ambulance as transportation between different medical centers might be considered an accepted norm. It’s possible that this is connected to the ongoing challenges he faces with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
At a gig in South Carolina that took place in September 2008, Travis Barker was joined onstage by his close friend and longtime musical partner Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein. After the performance, they were seen boarding a private jet together with their aide Chris Baker and their security officer Charles “Che” Still. What occurred after this has a lasting impact on Travis even to this day. During the effort to take off, the plane experienced a blowout in its tyres. The vehicle then careened off of the road and onto a slope, where it promptly caught fire.
Travis and Adam were successful in their attempt to flee, but unfortunately, Charles and Chris did not make it out alive. The fact that jet fuel was all over Travis caused his body to burst into flames after he was killed in the crash. Adam was the one who eventually put out the fire by using his own shirt, but not before Travis had received burns of the second and third degrees across around 65 percent of his body. One year later, Adam would end his life by overdosing on drugs, whereas Travis would stop completely.
According to the air traffic controllers, they spotted sparks flying from the plane, and the pilots reported back to ground control that a tyre had blown out and that they needed to abort take-off.
What is Travis Barker’s condition?
After running out of room on the runway, the jet ended up crashing over the boundary fence of the airport, traveling across the South Carolina 302 Highway, and finally coming to a stop on an embankment before catching fire. The firefighting crews needed more than an hour to get the blaze under control.
Still and Baker both perished in the accident along with the two pilots. Both Travis Barker and DJ AM were able to leave the plane, despite suffering burns of the second degree. Barker claims that he was doused in jet fuel and that he exited the aircraft while on fire. He had to slide down the wing to get to the ground, and then he had to take his clothes off in order to put out the fire.
The drummer suffered burns to 65 percent of his body, nearly lost his right foot, and was hospitalized for eleven weeks where he underwent 27 different surgeries and skin grafts. Someone told him to “stop, drop, and roll,” which put out the majority of the flames; however, he still suffered burns to 65 percent of his body.
A few weeks ago, Travis was seen wearing a splint after sustaining an injury, which caused supporters to become concerned about his well-being.
The drummer for Blink-182 has not discussed what took place with the band at this time. In Beverly Hills, California, Travis, who is 46 years old, was seen hanging out with a former cast member from Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Most of the time they were out together, the pair walked hand in hand. They eventually came to a halt, and Kourtney, who was 43 at the time, touched her husband’s cheek, which revealed the splint that was on his hand.
Along with his wedding ring, Travis wore the brace on his left hand. Occasionally, he would put the hand inside his pocket to keep it out of the way.
A terrible plane accident happened to Travis fourteen years ago, and as a result, the musician suffered serious burns and now struggles with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
On September 19, 2008, he was one of the passengers on the fateful aircraft, which he shared with his assistant Chris Baker, his closest buddy Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein, and a security officer named Charles “Che” Still.
On the Learjet 60 that crashed in South Carolina shortly after takeoff, all four people aboard were killed, including Chris, Che, the two pilots, and one other passenger.
His close friend DJ AM passed away over a year after the collision from an overdose as he battled to deal with the psychological fallout of the terrible occurrence.
The report that was issued by the National Transportation Safety Board after an investigation concluded that the accident was caused by tyre blowouts that occurred during takeoff and the pilot’s decision to abort the takeoff while traveling at a high speed, despite the fact that this manoeuvre was not recommended for the aircraft.
Can I Say is Travis’s autobiography, in which he details the aftermath of the sad incident that occurred in 2008, including his struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and suicide ideas. Travis just married Kourtney.
