Seriously! Even though it’s over 90 degrees where I live near the Alabama/Florida border, my kitchen is still a few degrees warmer than usual this time of year.

I was able to make three servings of ice cream that day after I flipped it over and froze it for about five hours. However, I was only able to make three because of the demand. It’s simple and enjoyable! Just ice cream was all that was needed, and it was easy to make. You can make a single serving (4-6 oz.) of your favorite frozen ingredients on the large surface area. For about 5 minutes after pouring the mixture, I put it in the freezer to harden before scooping into a serving container. In order to start another serving, put the food back in the freezer for at least 10 minutes. I made a mistake and threw some ice cream across the room. If it’s practical for you to go outside to scoop, it wouldn’t hurt.

A damp towel and soapy water are all that’s needed to clean this item, and I don’t expect to ever need anything else. If it’s always frozen, I don’t see how it could get dirty or need cleaning with soap.

The fact that I was asked to rate the flavor on the review form is perplexing. What goes into the ice cream is entirely up to the maker. I took a quick look at the included recipes and discovered that they all called for the use of egg yolks. My ice cream does not need this. To add a peach flavor, I used the same heavy cream, sugar, and pulverized peach that I used in Donvier. To add a hint of chocolate flavor, a few drops of chocolate syrup can be added to the heavy cream. In order to add a hint of vanilla flavor, just a few drops of vanilla extract. This should be eaten while still soft-frozen because it becomes as hard as a rock when completely frozen. Because there is no air and 36% milk fat, a little goes a long way. As a result, ice cream served in this form is a popular choice.

It doesn’t matter what you use, because the beauty of making your own is that you can customize it exactly to your tastes.

This product has exceeded my expectations. It’s a cinch to set up and use. Making various combinations of roll ice cream will save you a lot of money. This is a fun activity for kids because they get to make their own roll ice cream at home. We can make ice cream with our own ingredients and imagination. In order to use this outside, you must pay $5. For ice cream fans, this is an absolute must-have.

This is the first time I’ve ever used it. I noticed a scratch on the item’s front plate when I opened the box. I tested it out, and the scratch had no effect on how well it worked. If it does in the future, I’m worried. I’d give it a thumbs up if it weren’t for the scratch. It was quick and easy to make a delicious ice cream. Easy to clean, too.

As soon as I moved into my new apartment, I discovered that all of my ice cream “cold plates,” which are roughly 12″ in circumference, would not fit “flat” in my freezer! My next choice was a rectangle with the measurements checked before I started making it; it worked out just fine.

If you’re looking to make rolled ice cream, this particular plate isn’t going to work out for you. Just to make small batches of frozen treats “on demand,” which I am able to do.

To ensure the best results, I’ve found that putting the plate in the freezer for at least 5 -7 minutes AFTER pouring out the ice cream base is the best strategy. Transfer the mound to a freezer-safe container with a lid and put it back in the freezer for another 5-10 minutes. This method produced a much harder ice cream for me, which was exactly what I wanted.
